Phthalocyanine Blues are used for a wide range of applications ranging from paints to plastics and inks. Below is a brief description of our products.
- Most extensively used blue pigment group
- Offers excellent light fastness in masstone & excellent acid/alkali & solvent bleed resistance
- PB 15:0 - α-crystallizing type red shade is stable up to 200°F & unstable in aromatic solvent
- PB 15:1 - α-non-crystallizing type red shade is stable up to 350°F & unstable in aromatic solvent
- PB 15:2 - β-non-crystallizing/non-flocculating type red shade is stable up to 450°F & stable in aromatic solvent & water system
- PB 15:2 - β-non-crystallizing/non-flocculating type red shade is stable up to 450°F & stable in aromatic solvent & water system
- PB 15:3 - β-non-crystallizing type green shade is stable up to 450°F & stable in aromatic solvents& water system
- PB 15:4 - β-non-crystallizing/non-flocculating type red shade is stable up to 450°F & stable in aromatic & highly polar solvents & water system.
Iron Blue is primarily used for ink applications.
- Chemical name: Ferric Ammonium Ferrocyanide also known as Milori Blue
- Primary used for inks for its soft texture & non-bleeding.
- Occasionally in coating because low cost & heat stable up to 350°F (177ºC).
