Synthetic Iron Oxides - Our Iron Oxides are supplied in standard synthetic and granular forms. Umber - a naturally occurring iron oxide, that is finished from a manganese enriched form of goethite. Umber is used to color cement and cement products, roofing granules, clay brick, canvas, large animal feeds, coatings, grouts and urethane floor coverings. It is lightfast, insoluble in water, resistant to alkalis and weak acids, and nonreactive with solvents, oils, and most resins.
Ochre Yellow - Our Ochre yellow is available in two forms, OY-8043L and OY-8043D. Product # OY-8043L is a shade of dull yellow while OY-8043D is a yellowish-brown shade and is only slightly darker in color than OY-8043L. These pigments are primarily used to color cement and cement products, but can also be used for coloring roofing granules, clay brick, paper, canvas, large animal feeds, fertilizers, coatings, grouts and urethane floor coverings. They are lightfast, insoluble in water, resistant to alkalies and weak acids, and nonreactive with solvents, oils, and most resins.
MetaCem 85 C - grades of Calcined clays are reactive allumino silicate pozzolan formed by calcining very pure hydrous China clay. Chemically MetaCem combines with Calcium Hydroxide to form Calcium Silicate and Calcium Alluminate Hydrates. Unlike other natural pozzolan MetaCem is water processed to remove unreactive impurities producing an almost 100 percent reactive material. The particle size of MetaCem is significantly smaller than cement particles. IS 465:2000 recommends use of Metakaolin as a mineral admixture.
MetaCem 85 H - high reactivity Metakaolin is an engineered pozzolan that enhances the strength, durability and workability of the Portland cement concrete and cement based products. Chemically MetaCem combines with Calcium Hydroxide a by- product of cement hydration process, to form additional Calcium Silicate and Calcium Alluminate Hydrates that improve the properties of cement based products. The product is governed under ASTM C 618 Class – N (Calcined Natural Pozzolan). IS 456:2000 also recommends use of Metakaolin as a mineral admixture.
Chrome Oxide Green - Our Chrome Oxide Green is a high purity product distinguishable from standard green pigments by their outstanding stability and performance. There are four grades of Chrome Oxide Green ranging from light G1701X to the dark G1702X and the darkest shade G1705X. These pigments can be used for paints and coatings, enamels, floor covering, concrete and other applications that require heat stability and high purity.
Cobalt Blue - Our Cobalt blue is a high purity product distinguishable from standard blue pigments by its outstanding stability and performance. Cobalt blue is a cool, slightly desaturated blue color, excellent for use in cement for its chemical stability in the presence of alkali.
Luminescent Pigments - Our innovative luminescent pigments (glow-in-the-dark) can illuminate aggregates in the mix between 6 to 10 hours in the dark. These pigments can be mixed with a sealer, and applied to aggregates or any other surface whether it is concrete, wood or metal. Using luminescence can create impressive glow-in-the-dark effects that are unlike anything else in the industry.
